"I'll be right with you," said the postal clerk to me as I waited in an otherwise empty post office lobby. She talked with her coworker about possibly having to go out for customer service training the following week. Two minutes later she came to the counter and sold me stamps. She didn't want to take a $50 bill because she didn't have change. But there was a lot of change in her drawer. I think the customer service training is a good idea.
I had to mail an extensive packet of papers. The workers at this office were so nice and helpful in finding me the right size mailer and an affordable way to mail my package. Other post offices I have been to try to push an unnecessary overly expensive way to mail anything. I'm very happy with my experience at the Leesport post office today.
Don't try to cut it close and go close to closing time to pick up a package. Once I went at 4:20 and the door was already locked, I could hear/see them in there and they saw me and just ignored me. Twice I went on a Saturday and it was not 11 yet and the door was locked. This past week, I needed to pick up my package for a project that was due Monday. I work and got there as fast as I can. 10:55, I figured I just made it! Nope, door was locked. They really screwed me this time. They should change the hours if they can't stay open the hours they have listed. One time I can excuse, but 3 times?!
This post is a f##king joke the employees suck worse customer service I ever seen they lack knowledge couldn't give accurate answers why they mail carrier didn't come to a commercial address when I know they didnt come kept giving excuse and rude they say they close at 11:30 why when I call again at 11 they don't answer leesport post office needs new management I pay tax dollars for this crap
Nice service very small location. Cust reps r more personal with customers due to its small location and small city in leesport.
